Back on June 19, 2023, Tim Jackson signed a legal contract with the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office. That’s a binding agreement, not a napkin note or a handshake in a parking lot. He never told the City of Muldraugh about it. Never submitted it. Never brought it up in his hiring process. Nothing. The whole thing was swept under the rug like a rat carcass.

Then, on May 22, 2025, Sheriff James Vincent, the duly elected sheriff of Edmonson County, sent a $29,573 invoice to Mayor Anthony Lee, demanding payment on a contract Jackson signed while pretending to be a stand-up cop. The problem? That contract should’ve disqualified him from even applying in Muldraugh, let alone running the goddamn department.

Let me repeat that for the folks in the back: Tim Jackson committed the city to a contract he never disclosed, and now the taxpayers are expected to eat the cost of his lies.

MAYOR LEE’S BACKGROUND CHECK LIE

Now, let’s talk about Mayor Anthony Lee—the man who swore up and down that he did a “thorough background check” before hiring Tim Jackson as Chief of Police in March 2025.

Really? Because Edmonson County says they never heard from you. Not a phone call, not an email, not a pigeon carrier—nothing. So which is it, Mayor? Did you lie to the people of Muldraugh, or are you so grossly incompetent that you hired a chief without even Googling his name?

Either way, it’s a colossal screw-up, and the city is bleeding from it. And while we’re at it, it’s time someone asked: What is Mayor Lee protecting Jackson for?

TIM JACKSON: A HUMAN LAWSUIT IN UNIFORM

Let’s talk about the man himself—Tim fucking Jackson—who, somehow, is still Chief of Police even after this blazing five-alarm scandal. Here’s a taste of what this disaster-on-legs has done in under three years as a certified officer:

• Arrested people outside his jurisdiction. That’s not just illegal, that’s textbook abuse of power.
• Sued civilly for misconduct. Multiple times? Good chance of it.
• Under active FBI investigation that led to his suspension from Edmonson County in late 2024.
• Resigned under pressure from Edmonson after the FBI came knocking.
• Applied to multiple departments after that and was rejected over and over—gee, I wonder why?
• Let a drunk officer drive on duty. Let that sink in. An armed, intoxicated cop. On the streets.
• Lied to citizens’ faces about his employment history and contract status.
• Abused open records law to dig up dirt on private businesses and citizens—just to see what people had on him.
• Listed on the Giglio-Brady list—which means prosecutors don’t trust him in court because he’s a known liar.

What more does this man need to do before he’s shown the door?

Set fire to city hall? Pull a gun on a kid? Drive a cruiser into a liquor store? Because apparently, having zero integrity, endangering the public, and bankrupting the city still isn’t enough for Muldraugh leadership to give him the boot.

AND THE GOOD NEWS? HE’S TOO BUSY AT CITY HALL TALKING THE TO BE ON PATROL

You know what the one saving grace is in this? Tim Jackson’s not even out patrolling. And thank God for that—because if he were, we’d probably have a few more innocent citizens arrested, falsely charged, or hell, mysteriously assaulted. Instead, he’s apparently spending more time in the mayor’s and city clerk’s office than doing the job he’s paid to do.

If there’s a public safety benefit to keeping him around, no one has seen it. No crime reduction. No transparency. No community trust. Just lies, lawsuits, and $29,573 flushed down the toilet while he smiles like he’s doing the city a favor.

THIS SHIT ENDS NOW

The time for patience is over. This isn’t politics. This is theft, deceit, and public betrayal. If the City of Muldraugh doesn’t fire Tim Jackson immediately, then it is complicit in every single one of his actions—from the false arrests to the financial damage.

And if Mayor Anthony Lee won’t take that step? Then he needs to pack up and go too.

Because if the city pays that $29,573 bill and keeps Jackson on staff, they are actively enabling a corrupt, dangerous fraud to wear a badge, carry a gun, and represent every citizen in Muldraugh—and that, my friends, is an unforgivable disgrace.
