
The Meade County Messenger (MCM) reached out several times between March 18-March 28 to schedule a meeting with Muldraugh’s Mayor Anthony Lee to discuss several topics of interest rippling from the county’s most eastern city. Muldraugh has recently garnered attention from the rest of the county with the DUI (driving under the influence) arrest of one of it’s on duty officers within days of the swearing in of a new chief of police.
After multiple phone calls and emails to Muldraugh’s city hall, it was only after MCM was able to obtain Lee’s personal cell phone number that contact with Lee was made. Though resistant to the idea, Lee reluctantly agreed to an interview. A time of 3 pm Wednesday, April 9th was agreed upon. MCM reached out on Monday, April 7th to confirm and Lee stated that Wednesday was not a good time to meet. He changed the interview to 3 pm Thursday, April 10. Continue reading on The Messenger
