For a long time, the Muldraugh Register has focused on the City of Muldraugh — the people in City Hall, the decisions being made behind closed doors, and the impact those decisions have on everyday residents. But as time has gone on, I’ve realized that what happens beyond the city limits affects us just as much — if not more. That’s why I’ve decided it’s time for the Register to expand its focus.
From this point forward, the Muldraugh Register won’t just report on what’s happening in Muldraugh. We’ll be covering Meade County as a whole — the surrounding communities, the county officials, and the issues that have a real impact on the people who live here.
Now, I want to be upfront and honest about something: I’m not like the big news outlets. I don’t have a team of paid reporters or fancy offices. I have a full-time job, a life, and a court case that I’m still fighting. My time is limited — but my commitment to the truth isn’t.
While others might have the resources to publish stories every hour of the day, I work differently. I’ll report what I can, when I can, and I’ll make sure what’s published is real. You might not get dozens of updates every week, but when you see something here, you can trust it’s not watered down or hidden behind politics or pressure.
I started the Muldraugh Register because I got tired of seeing people silenced, stories buried, and citizens left in the dark. That mission hasn’t changed — it’s just grown. Whether it’s about corruption, public safety, or how county decisions affect our daily lives, I’ll keep digging and I’ll keep writing.
I’m not here to be liked or to compete with anyone. I’m here to tell the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it comes at a cost. Because that’s what real journalism should be.
So, as we take this next step, I want to thank every reader who’s followed along, shared stories, or stood up for transparency. The Muldraugh Register may be small, but it stands for something big — honesty, accountability, and the right for every citizen to know the truth.
