Mayor Lee said I’m probably the most transparent person we ever had in here? Really you’re the most transparent person you could have fooled me!
In a recent news article, Mayor Anthony Lee stated he’s very transparent. He went on saying that probably the most transparent person the city has ever had. But records show that his office has yet to fulfill an open records request filed April 15, 2025 well over the state required five business days raising questions about how that transparency is being practiced.
The request, submitted by Joshua Ferguson on April 15th 2025, for records for City owned vehicles and City expenses . Under state law, agencies are typically required to respond to such requests within 5 business days, per the State of Kentucky. We sent 2 more open record request via email to both the city and Muldraugh Police Dept. on April 24th 2025.

citizens argue that this undermines the mayor’s repeated public statements about being the most transparent the city has ever had. “You can’t claim transparency and then ignore public records laws,”This is not the first time public records have been ignored.
For now, the requested documents remain unavailable, and residents are left waiting to see if the mayor’s actions will align with his words.
