
On March 8th, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Deputy Faith of the Meade County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 120 Bethel Church Road in Brandenburg Kentucky in reference to vandalism of Bethel Methodist Church. Upon arrival, Deputy Faith observed several items inside the church destroyed, as well as monuments in the cemetery that were damaged.
Deputy Faith contacted detectives with the Sheriff’s Office for assistance and at the conclusion of the investigation, units located Troy Anderson of Brandenburg and charged him with the following.
· Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (D Felony)
· Burglary 2nd Degree (C Felony)
· Fleeing from Law Enforcement (A Misdemeanor)
Anderson also had an outstanding warrant through Meade County for prior unrelated charges. Anderson is currently being lodged in the Meade County Jail awaiting arraignment.
